Nye Street is a transitional/permanent residence for nine homeless adults who are dually diagnosed with mental illness and substance problems of a chronic nature and need a supervised substance free environment.  The primary focus at the residence is to develop skills aimed toward the goal of living independently in the community.   Nye Street offers independent living with a Maine Behavioral Healthcare office on site and 40 hours per week on site services as well as links to community services and treatment.  Individuals must be committed to sobriety.
